The wind band is the cradle of art, in which every student draws endless musical inspiration. With the joint efforts of school leaders, Shanghai wind teachers and teachers in our school, the wind orchestra of our school was officially established on September 30, 2021. Although the orchestra has only been established for half a year, it has gradually formed a stable development trend. Last week, in Huihai Hall of our school, the flute was melodious and the trumpet was loud. The school wind orchestra reported a successful performance, presenting a feast for hearing.

At present, the wind orchestra of our school has 41 players including flute, clarinet, French horn, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, bassoon, euphonium, trombone, trumpet, oboe and percussion.

This was the first time for the wind music students to perform. Although they were all nervous before going on stage, they still finished each performance calmly and confidently when they picked up their instruments and stood in the center of the stage, showing their own style.

A thousand miles without a short step. Do not accumulate small flow, beyond into Jianghai. It is the little by little efforts that create this wonderful moment. In daily life, many students not only follow the teacher's requirements at home, practice the piano and sing music carefully, but also take the initiative to help other students in daily training and play a good lead role in the wind class, which has been unanimously recognized by professional teachers. They are Wang Luhan, Chen Zhaoying, Xiong Hanyu, Ma Qianyin, Zhao Wangrun, Jin Min, Quan Xubin, Gu Yuqiao, Guo Minrui, Feng Shiya, Guo Zhengze, Zou Jiacheng, Quan Ruzhen, Yan Shiwen, Zhao Zhiyi. President Zhou presented the "Outstanding Student" certificate to the above students.

Popularizing music art, promoting music aesthetics and all-round development is our eternal goal. Thanks to the attention of school leaders, the guidance of Shanghai experts, the unremitting efforts of our teachers, as well as the persistent training of the students, the support of the parents! I believe that with the joint efforts of all of us, the wind orchestra of Liangfeng Bilingual Experimental School will surely accumulate a lot and shine brightly!
